Maali Al-Salam was established in 1991 by its founder, Mr. Kareem Maaud, a very self-made man who worked and tried his best to build a name for his company and a respectable reputation through hard work and understanding what the customer wanted and what the Iraqi market and trade required.  The company started with workers that did not exceed a mere handful, headed by Mr. Kareem. He did not assign a task to one of them except to follow up with him and closely monitor the work progress and the extent of customer satisfaction. Then Maali Al-Salam soon became famous in the Iraqi markets for its devotion and dedication to work.  It began its journey by participating in several exhibitions in different countries such as: China, UAE, Turkey and other neighboring countries and the Gulf countries.  It imported best options of different types of aluminum and PVC parts, as well as best machines that any experts might need.

 Maali Al-Salam expands the work environment to currently occupy a hall for sale with an area of ​​370 ‏m², and another building consisting of offices for administrators and a store for accessories with area of ​​170 ‏m², as well as a store for aluminum and PVC products and machines takes up space 5000 ‏m².  And the number of the Maali Al-Salam family has also increased, to now consist of 30 employees, including accountants, auditors, administrators and workers.
